In HCF, Kaylene was responsible for the total marketing effort, including advertising, research, strategic and marketing plans, and business and campaign analysis. In her wider corporate role, she led the development of marketing databases, designed business models for product profitability, branch locations, customer profitability, and management information systems. In CSR, Kaylene managed the marketing function for Mt Newman Iron Ore Mine. She also led competitor and customer research including site visits to Japanese finance, manufacturing and trading companies to undertake benchmark studies on the Japanese Steel Industry.
